Content strategy tips for small firms
22nd, Mar 2017
Content marketing is a proven way to attract and retain clients. However, producing high-quality effective content is a struggle for small firms.
At a recent Legal Marketing Association roundtable on Content Strategy for the Small Law Firm, we shared these tips and best practices to help any professional service firm:
1. Prioritize your efforts. In developing your content strategy, don’t try to cover every area of your expertise. Focus on the most important topics/practice areas/industries.
2. Use an editorial calendar. It helps you plan out your topics, establish due dates and track progress.
3. Repurpose your content. You can get more value from your content if you revise it into different formats and distribute it via multiple channels including email, social media and syndication.
